EXPERTISE

  1. Genetic engineering applied to industrial and plant biotechnologies, including CRISPR-Cas9.
  2. High-throughput screening platform for optimization of animal cell culture and fermentation media.
  3. Development, optimization and validation of 3D cell culture bioprocesses (animal or microbial) for cell or macromolecule production (e.g. recombinant proteins).
  4. Scale-up of bioprocesses: animal cell culture (15L) and microbial culture (7L).
  5. Chemical (e.g. GC-MS, HPLC) and biochemical (e.g. ELISA, qPCR) analyses.
  6. Development and optimization of medical diagnostic tools with the capability of ethically obtaining biological samples, validated by the Ethics Committee for Research Involving Humans and the medical clinic of La Cité College.
  7. Development and validation of biotherapeutics using animal cell culture as a disease model. Access to animal facility.
  8. Development of conservation/storage methodology for elite varieties of cannabis or other plants.
  9. Use of plant tissue culture (in vitro) to improve plant production and accelerate varietal selection.

DASbox® Mini Bioreactor Systems Bioprocessing – Parallel cultivation and monitoring of microbial or animal cell cultures under controlled conditions. Each system includes 4x 250 mL vessels, one dedicated to microbial cell culture and the other to animal cell culture.
Getinge DualLivit flex Bioreactor – Modular culture system for the sterile production of cells or microorganisms, featuring automated control of critical parameters such as temperature, pH, agitation, and oxygenation. Equipped with 3 L and 15 L vessels to accommodate various production volumes.
